Following the hugely successful 2026 Australian Classic Motorcycle TT at One Raceway Goulburn in March 2026, we surveyed competitors, volunteers and officials to gather feedback and help us continue delivering world-class events. There are always opportunities to improve, and we have carefully considered the many constructive suggestions as we plan for the 2027 TT.
Survey Highlights
The vast majority of riders said they'll return for the 2027 Australian Classic TT.
The three-day event format received overwhelming support.
Riders rated the event organisation and marshalling very highly.
Volunteers and marshals overwhelmingly described their experience as excellent and felt well prepared and valued, and have offered their services for future events.
The friendly atmosphere, camaraderie and welcoming spirit were consistently highlighted as the event's greatest strengths. This is exactly the kind of motorcycling community we continue to work hard to foster!
The handling of Saturday's extreme weather and revised schedule received universal support from respondents. Even the pit garage flooding did not dampen (pun absolutely intended!) enthusiasm.
Constructive suggestions included attracting more riders and spectators with earlier marketing, improving event communication, refining scheduling and results, and making a few operational improvements for marshals.
It was encouraging to see so many spectators attend, and the gate takings provided a welcome boost for the club. Building on that success, spectator engagement will also be an important focus for next year. During our post-event inspection, we were pleased to find the pit garages clean, free of waste and debris, and with no used tyres or oil left behind. So a big thank you to our competitors and teams!
CMRC held a productive post-event debrief with the One Raceway General Manager, and was praised for both the event itself and the conduct of our entrants. Congratulations to everyone for helping maintain our strong reputation with the One Raceway team ahead of next year. Watch this space for dates and entries!
